After traveling around the country for my husband’s military career, we settled back in Northern Michigan in 2020. After obtaining my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies I started my teaching career here at Glen Lake in Kindergarten. I am pursuing my masters in Early Childhood Education because the littlest littles have my heart! Being able to foster social emotional growth and a kid's love for learning at a young age brings me so much joy. I am proud to be part of the Laker family and look forward to doing what I do everyday.
At home my husband Tyler and I have two kids, Carter and Caroline, who are also Lakers. We also have 3 cats, 3 dogs, a snake, a couple rats and my classroom pet bunny, Gracie. Outside of being a teacher I love to decorate, spend time with my family and my pets, spend time outside (when it’s warm) and hibernate when it’s cold!
