When I was in sixth grade I had a fabulous teacher who instilled in me a love for learning and a belief in myself. That is when I decided that I wanted to become a teacher and positively impact children’s lives. I love teaching kindergarten and watching them grow as readers, writers, mathematicians and problem solvers! I find great joy in nurturing the growth and development of young children by both embracing and encouraging a child’s innate sense of wonder, enthusiasm and creativity.
I feel so fortunate to live in northern Michigan. I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, nieces, nephews and siblings. I have one energetic dog and one naughty cat. I love hiking, running along the bay, reading and spending time with my friends.
